Hawa Charity, is a small charity created by community for the community. We are led by a board of trustees who represent the community and are actively involved in service planning and development.
The Horn of Africa Women’s & Children’s Association (aka HAWA charity) is a registered charity (No. 1075084), based at: 8 The Concourse, Grahame Park, London, NW9 5XB. The charity was established in 1996 by Ms Zamzam Ali (may Allah have mercy on her soul). HAWA charity has been a member of the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRCSE) since 2018 (Membership No. NRC1767) and was awarded the Quality Mark in 2021 for providing excellent supplementary education. Additionally, HAWA is a member of the Young Barnet Foundation (YBF).
